Our team designe a state-of-the-art clinic for St. Paul Eye in Eagan, MN. This 7,800-square-foot facility was thoughtfully crafted to enhance patient care, improve staff efficiency, and create a welcoming environment for all visitors. The design balances functionality with an elegant aesthetic, ensuring a seamless experience for patients of all ages.
The clinic features a spacious reception area with a retail space that offers a variety of eye care products and lens frame options, making eyewear selection convenient for patients. The layout was strategically designed to optimize workflow efficiency, allowing for smooth transitions between testing and exam areas. A dedicated pediatric exam room provides a comforting space where young patients can undergo both testing and consultation in one room, minimizing movement and reducing stress. A central care station and sub-wait area allow staff to complete patient notes in an open, collaborative setting. These carefully considered design elements create a space that prioritizes both patient comfort and operational effectiveness.
The clinic’s design concept embraces nature-inspired elements, incorporating rich textures and organic materials. A painted wood-like trellis above the reception desk, etched glass with leaf patterns, and a soothing color palette of greens and blues reinforce the St. Paul Eye Clinic brand while fostering a calming atmosphere.
