The Burnsville location embodies the evolution of Los Campeones from its roots on Franklin Avenue in South Minneapolis into a scalable, high-performance prototype. Spanning over 40,000 square feet, the facility is organized as a series of purposeful training zones, including an expansive open gym, dedicated weight room, turf training lanes, and a mirror-lined posing room tailored for competitive athletes. Supporting amenities including a sauna, cold plunge, and fully equipped men’s and women’s locker rooms, balance recovery with rigor, while a retail area extends the brand experience beyond the workout. An inviting front desk anchors the entry sequence, establishing a clear point of arrival within an otherwise industrial, no-nonsense environment.

Materiality and lighting were carefully considered to enhance both durability and atmosphere. Black-painted interiors create a cohesive, high-contrast backdrop that amplifies focus, while a mix of concrete, turf, and luxury vinyl tile flooring delineates zones and withstands heavy use. High-bay and joist-mounted track lighting systems emphasize vertical volume and ensure consistent illumination across training areas, complemented by an integrated sound system that energizes the space. Through this project and across 12 locations nationwide, the design team has helped refine Los Campeones’ prototype, supporting franchise expansion in markets such as Des Moines, Ohio, Eau Claire, and Colorado, while maintaining the brand’s uncompromising identity as a serious training ground.
