Where Process Meets Purpose: Innovation and Optimization in a Welcoming Workplace

Planning and design of a new global headquarters for Crown Iron Works consisted of 3 buildings on a new site consisting of 75,000 sf. The main building which sits at 67,000 sf, is home to the main office and a portion of the warehouse and innovation center. A unique feature of the project is a 100-foot tower. The tower contains smaller versions of the equipment that they sell in the vegetable oil refining business. The smallest building on site is used for the extraction of vegetable oils from things such as soybeans.

A prominent front entry provides a strong presence and the Crown brand, offering a clear point of entry for visitors and guests from around the world.  The manufacturing areas were designed specifically for process optimization and efficiency.  Relocation of this global supplier of oil seed extraction technology, refining plants and equipment provided over 100 new jobs to the community making it a win-win for both Crown Iron Works and the City of Blaine.
