Architectural Designer: Level I

We are seeking an Architectural Designer: Level I to join our growing team. This role supports master planning, site planning, building programming, conceptual design, and the production of construction documents under the direction of our Principals, Project Managers, and Senior Architects. The ideal candidate brings a strong design sensibility, a willingness to learn, and the ability to contribute to a wide variety of project types.

About the Role

We are seeking an Architectural Designer: Level I to join our growing team. This role supports master planning, site planning, building programming, conceptual design, and the production of construction documents under the direction of our Principals, Project Managers, and Senior Architects. The ideal candidate brings a strong design sensibility, a willingness to learn, and the ability to contribute to a wide variety of project types.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop or support the development of creative design concepts and architectural solutions for clients and projects
  • Prepare CAD drawings, Revit models, and construction documents
  • Assist with master planning, site planning, programming, and zoning/code analysis
  • Prepare 2D and 3D models, renderings, and design presentations
  • Interface with clients on design issues and help develop architectural solutions
  • Support construction administration tasks (shop drawings, RFIs, SIs, submittals)
  • Coordinate with engineering consultants and project team members
  • Collaborate with Principals, Project Managers, and other team members to advance design concepts

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • 3+ years of architectural design experience
  • 1+ year of experience managing multiple project activities
  • Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD Architecture, and SketchUp
  • Experience with site planning and zoning analysis
  • Basic understanding of architectural principles, practices, and concepts
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and design skills

Bonus Points:

  • Construction adminstration experience
  • Working knoledge of Lumion, Bluebeam, or other rendering/visualization software
  • LEED accreditation (or willingness to pursue)

Compensation Range

$60,000-$65,000/annual
